nticing more and more dead fish on the river, what is the causes? they are not species specific, walleye, carp, catfish, smallies. no muskies or northerns though. just bottom dwelers.

Rob and I noticed the same thing the last 2-times we were out. I know last year in the Tunkhannock stretch of the River, they had a problem with some kind of a virus in the water. I wonder if it's something like that again?

it happens every year the water gets this low, the water temperature heats up and believe it ot not there are still townships that dump sewage directly into the river.

i recently walked a storm sewer line with the local police, i noticed human feces lying in the storm sewer, coming from house lines connected to the sewer line. disgusting.....

Where is DEP on stuff like that. They will bust your balls on stupid $HIT everytime,but When there's actual $HIT going into the river, it seems like they turn a blind eye? Too much work involved?
